Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 12, 2026. This page explains what MK Edit collects when you browse this static site and how you can exercise sensible control.

What this site is

MK Edit is primarily a static website: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and images served from a web host or container. A static site typically does not run its own database for comments or accounts. If your deployment adds features (for example, analytics, newsletter signup, or a hosted contact form), those features may collect additional data under their own policies.

Information hosting providers may log

Your browser automatically sends technical data required to load pages, such as IP address, user agent, request path, referrer, and timestamps. Hosting providers, reverse proxies, and content delivery networks commonly store these values in access logs for security and troubleshooting. Retention depends on the operator you choose when you deploy MK Edit.

Cookies and local storage

The baseline static pages in this repository do not set marketing cookies. If you embed third-party widgets (video players, social buttons, analytics), those vendors may set cookies or read identifiers according to their documentation. You should disclose those vendors here when you add them.

Contact form submissions

The contact page included in this repository is a front-end demo. If you connect it to email software or a CRM, you become responsible for securing that pipeline, limiting retention, and honoring deletion requests where applicable law requires it.

Children’s privacy

MK Edit publishes creative-education material aimed at a general creator audience. If you operate in regions with child-privacy rules, add the disclosures and parental workflows your counsel recommends.

Changes

We may update this policy when the deployment model changes. Material changes belong in a dated revision at the top of this page so returning visitors can compare versions.
