Apps
MK Edit treats apps as the place where good prompts become durable files. Pick tools based on export control, color management, and whether you need layered compositing or single-pass filters.
Mobile editing stack
For fast turnaround, pair a capable mobile editor with cloud sync so AI-generated plates land where you already composite. Prefer apps that preserve resolution on export and let you disable automatic “beauty” sharpening when you plan to grade on desktop.
Desktop finishing
When AI gives you a strong composition but noisy shadows, move to desktop for selective noise reduction, true curves work, and print-safe sharpening. Document your round-trip: which app owns denoise, which app owns grain, and which app owns final resize for each platform.
ChatGPT and image models
Large language models are excellent creative directors but poor pixel-perfect retouchers. Use them to generate briefs, captions, shot lists, and negative prompts; use dedicated image models or classic photo tools for fine-detail skin and micro-contrast. The MK Edit library assumes you will mix both deliberately.
